All About Vodka Brands

Like everything else in life, we want to know which is the ‘best’ vodka. Which vodka is most superior to others. And like everything else in life, we realize that there is no one single answer. For example, I use the latest Intel Pentium Core Duo Processor, as I require it to power my media center, on the other hand, my Grandfather still uses a 11 year old IBM Thinkpad with 4 MB RAM running Windows 3.11 with Wordpad!

Considering the above definition all vodkas should be the same and the brand shouldn’t matter. This is true to some extent, in the sense, that the final product of all the brands are more or less similar to each other and while mixed in a blood mary, there is little or no discernable distinction between them. However, if you plan to have them as shots, on the rocks or in a martini, then you are well advised to consume a premium brand.

There are a lot of vodkas out there. And each one is trying to catch your eye, … Read more

A Rich Heritage of Artistic Performance at Opéra Garnier

An impressive 2000 seat Opera House in Paris, the Opéra Garnier is also known as the Palais Garnier. Featuring a magnificent façade this structure has hosted some fantastic musical performances since its inception. Designed by Charles Garnier and featuring the Neo Baroque style, the structure is considered to be one of the greatest architectural masterpieces of its time. The Opera National De Paris also uses this venue as one of its main performance sites. In the past it was the primary venue but the Opera moved once the L’Opera de Bastille was constructed in light of its more modern facilities. The name of this structure has been changed constantly over the years through numerous falls of governments and other events including funding shortages. Another incident that plagued its construction during the early phases was that the ground that was set to be the construction site of the building was found to have a swamp that was located underneath and construction was halted. This ground was eventually pumped clean of its water before construction could begin. It was only in late 1874 that the Opéra Garnier was finally completed and it was inaugurated with a lavish gala performance. Featuring gold leaf, … Read more

Now that we are in 2009….3 yearssssssss after!!!!! lol I’m getting old… I can now look back at it and have some constructive critics and comments. First of all,,, the music… The music is somehow critical but not to critical in a way. In this case this is a really slow and soft song by Massive attacks : ”teardrop” . I think this is the kind of song that someone might want to use. Why? because it is slow and soft!! Lol OK let get serious… When you put music on a demo reel you don’t want it to be aggressive, attractive and to distracting in comparison of your content. If the song is the new hit parade song it may distract the employer. If it is to aggressive they might want to stop even before starting to watch it or finish it. If its that the case and one of your better piece is at the end your screw. At the opposed I’m not too sure with too heavy classic song to,,, you know the one … Read more
